What is Smash Rule 👇
- Teams will play under standard tournament rules until a team reaches the Match Point threshold (TBA points).
- Once a team reaches Match Point, they become “Match Point Eligible.”
- The first Match Point Eligible team to secure a WWCD will be crowned the champion.
- If no eligible team wins a WWCD within the maximum match limit, the team with the highest overall points will win the tournament.
Example:
If the Match Point threshold is 120 points, a team reaching 120 or more points becomes Match Point Eligible. They must then win a WWCD in the following matches to secure the championship.
