💥 What is Smash Rule?
- Teams play under standard tournament rules until a team reaches the Match Point threshold 🎯
- Match Point for this event is set as:
- Top 1 team’s points after Match #12 + 5 points 📊
- Once a team reaches Match Point, they become “Match Point Eligible” ⚡
- The first Match Point Eligible team to secure a WWCD will be crowned the champion 👑
- Maximum of 9 matches can be played on Day 3
- If no eligible team secures a WWCD, the team with the highest overall points wins the tournament 🏆
📝 Example
If the leading team has 115 points after Match #12, the Match Point threshold becomes 120 points. Any team reaching 120+ points becomes Match Point Eligible and must secure a WWCD to win the championship.
